

Basically, any layout is good that lets you get 100% Specialization bonus in all you can at your level (Parks, Landscaping, Education and Transpofrtation). Once you have 2-3 short red road zones away from your population, don’t touch those buildings or roads, ignore the “!” and you’re happiness will remain at 100%.Īt this point there really is no optimal layout. since those don’t effect your happiness score. That’s why it’s best to force red roads where you have factories, shops, hospitals, Mayor’s Mansion, etc. It will continue to create red road segments until you have 2-3 of them and then no more will appear. The game will artificially tell you there is congestion on your roads even if you were to put 1 house on each road segment. I’ve been finished with both for months in my main & feeder but still collect them for friends. You’ll be so happy you have that out of the way, although initially you may feel a bit at a loss since hunting for those parts has been such a big part of your playing up to this point.

You have almost full storage capacity (i had too), so for my opinion, you can now expand, get some platinum keys, cash from CoM (easy with that storage in levels 17-25, maybe save some simoleons before CoM) and enjoy that design experiments and gaining a lot of prizes.įirst, if I could I’d give you 3 thumbs up for your patience and dedication to building out your land and storage. Paris, London and Mountain epics areas has maxis manors coverage. I had 3 already maxis manors in that time, so it was much easier. What you must figure first is police/fire/health positions and your water design if you want it (for me - city without water is not beautiful). What also works for me, having all shops in one road (both sides) and intersections in the ends, that vans from shops only making U-turns and going from shop to shop. Also in that snake areas, maybe RZ's in that end big U-turns can be problem, I have parks in the end (1x4 square, RZ's at least that one square from road turn (cars slowing in there). Also I don't have single 4-road intersection in city, and where is worst traffic situation, city entry (I have factories and shops near city entry), and in snake areas connectors - I don't have RZ's nearby this areas, never problem with traffic.

I'm now level 26, 900k population, aesthetic goals and I don't need more than 6 lane roads, I have some avenues or boulevards only for aesthetic reasons. You can place beautiful 4x4 RZ blocks there, without monotone long roads patterns. For example my Paris and London area has it. And this small intersection is good maybe for placing police/fire station/campus upright to road. In this small intersection are all that school buses, police cars and others making U-turns and don't go at the end of snake road and filling traffic in the end of snake road. What works for me is, that somewhere in the middle i made small T intersection, but not connected between two snake road sides, but only 2 or 3 squares long road. Mine are large maybe as your area near beach. I like a lot snake road areas in my city. Posts about cheats, exploits or hacks are never allowed.
